Yeah, once Children of Earth has you in its grasps, it won’t want to let you go until you finish all five days…!

But season 4 should work here. The link will take you, I believe, to episode one and there will also be a drop down menu to take you to the other nine episodes.

ok, that explains it… I don´t know the radio plays (yet)… mostly because I don´t know where to get/listen to them… do you know where I can get them?

As a matter of fact, yes! I posted a bit ago with links to each radio drama online which can be found here.

Just a fair warning, if you’re anything like me, you will cry at some of them, so I recommend having tissues handy!

I assume you’re referring to “It doesn’t need saying…Yes it does! Ianto Jones I love queue.”?

I don’t think it’s because you’re not native…

It’s a reference to a Torchwood radio drama, The House of the Dead. I won’t spoil the actual events, but in the radio drama, Ianto tells Jack, “It doesn’t need saying.” And Jack replies, “Yes it does! Ianto Jones, I love you.”

So the queue part is a little bit of a spin on that…rather heartbreaking, touching, and emotional moment.

Attempting to relate this to Torchwood because, well, Torchwood blog. :) 

I like my appreciation of Torchwood’s efforts to unite LGBT, depth of emotion and characters, its hinting at a wide spectrum of intellectual topics such as literature and philosophy and Latin and anatomy and physiology, and more, rather than accepting it simply as a bunch of pretty faces with nice accents. Although I do like that part as well. Because a pretty face does not hurt.  

I (sometimes) like how my mind won’t give up on an idea until I do something about it. Like creating this blog.

Flailing because excitement! 

Okay, so, I’m going to make them personal-ish, but try to relate them to Torchwood because, well, I don’t think people who follow this particularly care about me. 

1. I have fallen in love with Latin and am on the path to minoring in it. Thus, it made me so incredibly excited to hear the Roman in Torchwood speaking Latin (I spent ten+ minutes so far trying to figure out what he said…) and to see that John Barrowman talked about the language in his book.

2. Torchwood (when Jack mentioned “reading” Proust), Twisted Showcase (which Gareth David-Lloyd was featured in), John Barrowman, and Gareth David-Lloyd have all fueled my love of existentialism and philosophy and have made me want to read Proust and Camus and… 

3. Ianto is the person I desperately want to be; put together, emotional and caring, aware, observant, intelligent, witty, so very capable, able to hide himself yet maintain relationships well, and so much more. He’s the character who I identify with most and want to be like and he’ll always be my favourite character because of that, no matter how much I adore everyone else on the team and the show. 

4. Jack Harkness and John Barrowman make me feel a lot more comfortable with how obnoxiously dirty I am. 

5. I am a coffee addict; it’s a necessary part of my life since I have a shit time sleeping. But it makes me feel better that it’s such a prevalent part of the “show” (fandom) because every time I drink coffee it makes me just that little bit happier. 

Okay, so probably not as interesting/whatever else you want to call it as you thought! I’m not really that interesting of a person, so…

Anyway, I’m not going to tag ten individual blogs, but I’m going to address the “tag” to every follower. I’d love to get to know a bit about you!
